I am really interested in trying this food (now that I have found that my lab has no problem with barley).  It is hard to find fish based food with high enough protein (and moderate fat) without stuff like pea protein, potato protein, and etc...but I think this food could be the fish based food for my lab since he does not do well on grain free food (the potatoes give him nasty ears...brown, waxy stuff).  What do you guys think about it?

If he's reacting to the potato, you might be cautious of the yogurt and yeast also (simple carbs aggravating yeast issues).  IMO, give the food a try because you don't want to miss out on something good because of something you've never known to be a problem in your dog.  But be alert for the same type of issues.

    It looks pretty neat.

you could also try Nature's variety salmon and rice, or even their Instinct rabbit (yeah it says rabbit but it has a lot of salmon in it).

Actually, Nature's Variety Salmon and Brown Rice was my first choice.  I tried it and, even with fish oil supplements, my lab was scratching a lot while eating the food (I bought the large bag so I used it for more than a month).  Also, he had large poops (as much as when he was on Canidae - - old formula) while eating NV.

But I think I will try the NV grain free...
