gag, me either!   I don't even like the smell of canned fish cat foods!

I don't like the smell of any canned pet foods.....nasty!

OT but hope you won't mind............ When I was a kid we always had at least one dog and they were fed the cheapest kibble available along with table scraps.  Every once in a while our Mom would cave in to my whining and carrying on to buy some canned dog food.  She would buy this brand called Prince.  I swear to doG that that stuff was made of inedible crud mixed with glue.  You could not get it out of the can without opening both ends and pushing it out.The poor dogs would take one bite and it would stick to the roof of their mouth to remain until they could eventually scrape it off.LOL  I can still smell that stuff sometimes when DH doesn't take the kitchen trash out before it becomes fragrant.  Poor doggies and here I thought I was doing them a favor.

I top my dogs food with meat leftovers, veggies, chicken stock if I have it and fruit. Please forgive me for repeating that dogs can't have grapes/raisins.

 I've seen Prince!  usually one-pound bag of the dry in convenience stores.  I found their web site:

I wonder if it's the same brand?  I was a kid and that was at least 40 to 45 yrs ago!!  I thought for some reason that it was made here in San Antonio.  I'm going to google it.

About a month ago, I smoked a turkey on the grill. I put the innards aside in their own dish with no seasoning or rub to cook just a little bit (because I wanted some, too.) Anyway, that was so that Shadow could have the organ meat. It wasn't much but it is a dense source of nutrients. A good time was had by all.
