It's pretty basic though, brown rice, peas and carrots and canned salmon.
For sensitive dogs, real basic is often best!
I know, at first you feel like a mean doggie parent because they're only getting one protein and one carb and a bit of veg ... but once you see it actually working, it's like a revelation.
I'm starting to eyeball the ginger I use as a possible source of the good poops. It's good for the stomach as well as being a great anti-inflammatory and I have been using a new source and adding more than before lately.
How do you add the ginger - in what form? Fresh or dried/powder?
I've been trying to figure out how to be able to incorporate it, but it's obviously very strong tasting so my dogs shy away. And I'm worried about using raw grated ginger due to high tummy sensitivity. Maybe I should try adding a little chopped ginger while the food is cooking, the way I would for our own?
