Dog is sick and the vet can't see her until morning....Help!

I have this dog she is a mutt and she is great.   But she has been vomiting a lot.   I called the vet but they can't see her until the first appointment of the morning.   I'm also on bed rest and not supposed to drive.  Or be up cleaning up after her.   But I will if I have to.   She is 21 lbs

She has vomited up about 5 globs of yellow foamy bile (some was chunky) in the last hour.   I think it could be because of the cow hooves we gave the dogs.  We gave each dog one,  under instruction of our trainer. Our trainer suggested cow hooves and bully sticks. Last time we listen to the trainer on chews and treats.   This never happened with rawhides.    It looked like some splintered and she coughed some of reminents of the cow hoof up.  I have since thrown those away.   Those are the only thing new we've given her.

She isn't wanting to drink a lot but she never does this time a day but she is acting hungry but I'm afraid to give her anything to eat after throwing up.

What can we do for her until we can get her to the vet and what are serious signs we need to watch for?

(We can't really afford an emergency vet and we figure if it was a real emergency the vet would have got her in.   he did suggest some pedialite so she doesn't get dehydrated)

Also she is acting normal, still playing with my other dog.  Still running around.   She doesn't act sick.

Don't panic....if she isn't acting sick and still running around and playing, I don't see it as critical.  Just watch her closely, encourage drinking and take her in the morning.

Chamomile tea can often help settle the stomach (just suck it up in a dropper or in a baby medicine syringe and squirt behind the canine tooth (holding the mouth loosely shut)

Bile often indicates that the stomach is TOO empty.  It depends on the dog but I'm often not one to overdo the "resting the gut" thing ... if a dog is TOO hungry it can make them throw up.  And just like a human giving them something TO throw up isn't all bad.  It's a balance -- I'm not totally nay-saying rest the gut but if the dog is acting THAT hungry I'd try something very very easy.

Can your husband cook rice into oblivion?? Literally a ton of water and just cook (even minute rice) into goo?  Or even just a bit of hamburger cooked in rice and water.  Nice and bland but enriching.

Update sorry long: This was last night:  (I just didn't get a chance to post)

She had a very runny bowel movement after I posted, major mess.

No vomiting or runny stool since then which was a few hours. She is drinking more again and she is begging for food like her old self. I fed her some boiled rice because she hadn't eaten anything today and I felt bad looking at her watch our other dog eat. She is very gassy but other than that seems to be getting back to her old self. We are certain its from the cow hoof, I called a relative that also gave their dog one and there dog had the same reaction after chewing on it for 2 to 3 days as our dog did. Dog had throwing up and runny stool. I also called a family friend who is a vet and they feel she is going to be okay but still take her in tomorrow to make sure she doesn't have a virus. He suggested restricting food until dinner time tomorrow, but a little rice was fine to calm her stomach. He said if there was some kind of blockage she most likely wouldn't be able to have a bowel movement or would have a very difficult time passing one and there would most likely be blood in it.

So it was a watch her until morning and then take her in kind of thing.

She is back to rough housing with the other dog and has a playful attitude again.

    Current Update:

My husband took Sashie to the vet this morning. Last night she did not vomit again and her stools were pretty much back to normal. Went to the vet, vet wasn't too concerned and felt it was introducing something new to her system. She got very sick after having a buffalo bone in the past (my grandparents gave that too her when babysitting her) and that we should just keep her hydrated. She can start solid food back tonight. But if she gets any worse bring her back in. So they can give her fluids under the skin for hydration.   But her vitals were great.

Problem is hubby got her home after her visit and after her doing so well since last night and he hadn't been gone 15 minutes and she had a major runny bowel movement all over my brand new entry rug. (she isn't a small dog so it wouldn't be like a poodle or Min Pin runny stool, she had big dog poops even though she is only 23 pounds (according to her weight today). Well I can get a new rug that is no big deal, I just tossed it. But I am concerned that she has started up the runny stools again because I know how quickly that could dehydrate a dog.

Now I am on bedrest and I can't take her back to the vet, but do you think she needs to go back because I can get someone to take her, or should I just watch her since the vet gave her the all clear and her vitals were perfect. Could it just be that this treat didn't agree with her and its working its way out of her system. We have another dog with digestive problems and its so funny how the hoof didn't effect him at all. Oh well again last time we listen to the trainer about treats, she was right it would last a few days vs 20 minutes like the bully sticks do but in my opinion it was so not worth it. I think we will stick with our Nylabones and Kongs, they've never gotten sick or hurt with those and they last.

By the way she is drinking a lot without us trying to coax her into it, so on her own she is now drinking a lot

So that is where we are at the moment, thanks
