    Groomer Has It-season 2!

    http://press.discovery.com/ekits/groomer-has-it-s2/

My friend/mentor Lisa Leady is a contestant, and I'm crazy excited about watching it!  Whether it's a good thing for our industry or not is debatable, but I will be glued to the TV this season.  Lisa is rockin' awesome!

I think that girl from Vegas will have her work cut out for her - she's already making a fool of herself on the preview clips;-)  So long as no other "mentors" are on the show, I guess we'll be rooting for our idog connection.

     This coming Saturday!  WOOOHOOOO!

I'm watching now.  I think with the exception of two of them I wouldn't be comfortable with them grooming my dog.

I have the most confidence in Lisa so far. Krista was really getting on my nerves! I just went to the Groomer has it website and Jessica has the most votes for the predicted winner. She's the one that was rough with the dog in the tub and brush burned him, so I'm a little confused.

They said the guy brush burned him so I don't know.  Either way, when they showed the burns they were pretty bad.  As an owner I would of been truly irrate if that was my dog.  Willow's been burned by clippers once or twice but nothing to that extent.

Lisa so rocked!  Really enjoyed watching her.  She was very much herself.

And yeah, Krista was being really obnoxious.  Or they made her appear so with the editing anyway.  Looks like she's all drama next week.Stick out tongue

Any facebookers out there?  You can friend several people from this and season as well as season 1.  I friended Xavier, was chatting with him the other day.Smile

Yes, Lisa is definately one of the better contestants.  I could see it right away.

Hey all, I just watched my DVR'ed first episode of season 2.  I'm really excited about this new season but I've already decided that Krista is Will from season 1 in a woman's body.  Blah!  She needs to calm herself...  Ha!

From what I understood, I don't think they necessarily believed the guy himself did it.  But because when they initially divided up the "responsibilities" (I believe it was cleanliness, cut, and creativity) he was the one responsible for cleanliness.  In their book, the brushing portion fell under his responsibility so in the absence of any one person saying "It was me, I messed up," the person who took charge of that category was on the hook.  What I don't understand is why, if they decided in the beginning that cleanliness was his thing, this guy was so hands off during the bathing portion.  Especially when he claims he first noticed the girl being overly rough, and the dog's sensitive skin, during the bath.  His failure to step up and directly tell her to  lighten up--or better yet to step in and do it himself-- was his downfall.

On a happier note: To the OP of this thread, it seems your friend Lisa may just run away with the show.  I realize it's early in the season, but she surely stood out.  Can't wait to see what next week brings!
