• Could he have worms? spiritsmom Posted : 9/16/2009 4:59:34 PM Mom has a shih-tzu that is dragging his bottom. he is on Heartguard so I am wondering if he could have the worms? She doesn't see anything. he was wormed when she got him from the pound in March. He has just had his hair cut and his anal glands expressed. ANy ideas? Ivermectin is something that's been used for so long, and it's given in such a low, low dose, that sometimes, it just doesn't protect against anything but heartworms.
