The pups and I have our good thoughts beaming to Cherokee!
My vet always goes with deramaxx instead of rimadyl. Kes tolerated it well for the week he was on it and she said that generally short term you may see some tummy upset, though it's not terribly common. She only worries about liver support when using it longterm (like months).
