Thanks guys.
I dropped him off at the vet's office this morning. After talking with Bev's neurologists, we decided to go ahead & biopsy some of the lesions. He decided to act like a jerk, so I had to leave work, to go help the vet tech get him out of his kennel, so that they could get him under anesthesia. I got him out, & held him so that they could knock him out. The vet took samples from three different lesions, & will send them out for analysis tomorrow. He's still drunk, but he is home with us, & resting comfortably.
Karen, while I was mumbling under my breath about having to go get him out of the kennel, I gave him an ear rub from you. He appreciated the ear rubs.
Callie, he is on a big dose of prednisone (70mg twice a day, for now) so it may be an issue with the pred. He got a half-hearted attempt at a bath with an antiseptic shampoo this evening. (He's still too drunk for me to be able to keep him up on his feet, & to clean him very well.)
He has never had any type of skin issues before, so I don't think that this is an allergy. I could be wrong...
For now, while we are waiting for biopsy results, he has been started on Baytril.
