willowchow Especially whip worms, I think those are the ones he can just just by walking on ground that's been exposed to them. That could happen to any of us. There is no way to tell.

I don't know....everywhere I read it says "ingesting them" HOW GROSS. Now..... I have to admit there is nothing he does'nt put in his mouth.... well not much anyway.. .although he is not a dog that tries to eat other dog doo.....but then not that I have seen anyway. He does stop and sniff but doesn't everyones dog??? But I wonder if bunny poo....and deer poo has it. Then...there is this bird nest that fell out of a tree a few weeks back on our walk...of course Gibby had to go sniff it....and as soon as I said " no Gibby" he picked it up...then when I tried to take it from him he tried to eat it! " Now............they say there is almost nothing dirtier or more unhealthy to touch than a birds nest..... and he had it in his mouth. A week or so later...it ended up back by the walk and he did it again. So you never know....along with all the time he spends at day care. I intend to take him back there the day before vacation......wondering about that now.

Yep, any dog can get worms. Hope the panacur clears up his digestive woes.
Is he on a heartworm preventative? Many of them also help with other types of worms
