Strange thing happened in the night....
Maggie, age 10, woke us up around 3 a.m., panting, pacing, couldn't be still. Every so often her back parts would jerk, then she'd walk more, then jerk. It really scared me. So we had good poop, but the fecal tested positive for whipworms. I guess we'll start treating those and then go from that point forward. Poor little doggy...she's so sweet, she doesn't deserve this. Stoopid previous owners.

Glucosamine/Chondroitin for Fertility?
I have heard that Glucosamine/Chondroitin (and probably MSM) can help to increase a males motility and a females fertility. I have tried to find any articles on this. I have a 9 month old, female, black lab retriever. At about 9 weeks old I started noticing she would twist her head to the side and act like she was dizzy. That's the really bad news. Her liver level (ALT) is elevated due to the inflammation of the heart due to the H/W. So she is home with Enalapril for the inflammation and some probiotics for the diarrhea. I have milk thistle that I will slowly add to her diet. Her other organs look good. So, one...

Has anyone tried Critter Oil for fleas and ticks? I am taking my dog to West Virginia in a few weeks and she is on Vectra. Because she is also on Proin, I can not put a tick collar on her.
